What’s On October 2018

So, Summer seems to be finally drawing to an end and we begin to look forward to Autumn and a new series of events being organised by and on behalf of The Rosemary Foundation.

These begin with an event being held on Saturday 29 September in conjunction with Whitehill Town Council’s Mayor Leslie Webber, who has chosen The Rosemary Foundation as her Charity for the year.

The Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company together with the Council are organising a Classic Car Show at the newly constructed Bordon Sports Club (B.O.S.C.) at Bolley Avenue, Bordon. They are hoping to attract a number of classic vehicles, including cars and motorbikes.

Moving into October itself, we then have two events on the 20 th . The first of these is our very popular Annual Quiz night at East Meon Village Hall

Also on the 20 th our good friends and supporters Waterlooville Motorcycle Club are holding a 50’s/60’s Dance at Barton Hall, Horndean Technology College.

This will be in aid of The Rosemary Foundation and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and will have live entertainment provided by ‘Forever Young’.

Tickets are £10 each, will include a ploughman’s meal and are available from Mick Bowley on 01730 261991

On the following day, Sunday 21 October, Solent Renegades will be holding their End of Season ‘American, Classic Hot Rod, Custom and Bike Show at The Farmhouse, Burrfields Road, Portsmouth.

Looking forward to November, we would like to mention the awesome zigzagband from Selborne who are holding ‘The Big 10th Birthday Party’ on the 10th November, with all proceeds going to The Rosemary Foundation.

Further details and tickets may be obtained from www.thezigzagband.com

Finally, and hopefully not too early for you, we are pleased to say that our ever-popular Christmas Cards are now in stock and may be ordered by post from the office, or online at https://www.rosemary- foundation.org.uk/shop/christmas-cards/
