Ready To Rock School’s Mark Thompson-Smith said “We are are absolutely delighted to be in Petersfield to bring our exciting show to the town. It’s actually the first opportunity we’ve had of hosting our rock show here and our local students, from our Herne Junior School base, are particularly excited at the prospect of playing to all of their family and friends from the area.”

Clanfield’s Mark and his top tutor team have been teaching youngsters in the area how to sing, play guitar, bass and drums for the past 8 years. “Being able to pass on my experience from my time in the music business with bands like The Sweet, Praying Mantis, Big Life and Fay Wray, is a such a privilege and seeing them demonstrate what they’ve been learning with us at our live events, whilst also raising money for worthy causes, is so inspiring.”

“We always look to support a local charity for our ‘three a year’ charity gigs and two of our Herne students have suggested The Rosemary Foundation as a close relative is to receive much appreciated support from the charity in the very near future. We’re just glad to help raise awareness of the charity and raise as much as we possibly can via our rock gig.”

Doors open at 1.30pm and the music kicks off at 2pm, on Sunday December the 14th, at Petersfield Social Club, Station Road, Petersfield GU32 3ED.
