Dedicate a light to a loved one at The Rosemary Foundation’s Lights of Remembrance service

This month, The Rosemary Foundation will hold its annual Lights of Remembrance service to give friends and relatives the opportunity to dedicate a light in memory of a loved one. You are welcome to join us on Sunday November 27th from 4:30 pm at Langrish House, by kind invitation of Nigel and Robina Talbot-Ponsonby. On arrival you will be able to listen to some beautiful singing by our friends from the Horndean based choir, AChoired Taste.

We then move outside for our short service at 5:15 when the lights are switched on and the names of all our loved ones are read out. Finally, we return inside for mulled wine, coffee and mince pies and an opportunity to talk to the nurses.

To sponsor a light for someone special please call us on 01730 266329 and let us know if you intend to come to the service. The event is usually very well attended so we have to limit places and we ask that you keep parties to no more than four people. The deadline for us to receive your dedication is Wednesday, 23rd November 2016

Providing a ‘Hospice at Home’ service to communities in East Hampshire

For nearly 20 years The Rosemary Foundation has been providing a ‘Hospice at Home’ service in Petersfield and the surrounding towns and villages for patients in the latter stage of life-limiting conditions.

We are a local charity, providing a service to those in need in the Petersfield area. We don’t receive any government or NHS funding and rely solely on the generosity and support of local volunteers and fund raisers to continue providing our valuable service, at no cost to the patient or their family.

How to donate to support our work

If you would like to dedicate a light to the memory of a loved one, we invite you to make a voluntary donation towards the continued work of our nurses.

You can download our gift aid form and send it, together with your donation, to:
