How to Donate

The Foundation currently receives little statutory funding and relies heavily on donations to continue to serve those in the community who sadly need us. There are several ways to make donations and we take care to make the most of every penny we receive. One of the ways in which we do this is to send our thanks for gifts by email whenever possible, rather than incur the cost of postage. While we feel ourselves that though this is perhaps more impersonal, we hope our supporters will feel it is the sensible thing for us to do.

We are always very pleased to know when a donation is made in memory of someone – one of our patients perhaps – and it is very encouraging for our nurses when their work is recognised in this way.

When you are thinking of holding a sponsored event to raise funds for The Rosemary Foundation, and you have no preference as to which fundraising site you use, we find either Virginmoneygiving or BTMydonate work better for us. Whichever site you use, thank you so much for supporting us as you make such a difference to the number of patients we can see.

Donations at funerals – some of the families of patients we have cared for choose to suggest donations to The Rosemary Foundation rather than flowers and we appreciate this very much. Alternatively, you or your funeral director can create a page on one of the fundraising websites (MyDonate, JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving) to collect donations.
