East Meon Cricket Club Race Night

In partnership with the Rosemary Foundation and to kick off the 2016 cricket season in style East Meon Cricket Club is hosting a Race Night in the Village Hall on Saturday 16 April.

Doors will open at 7pm with the first race commencing at 7.30pm.

Cost of entry is £5 per person, which will include a splendiferous ploughman supper provided by our ladies, and tables of ten can be reserved in advance by contacting Sam Meyer at sam.meyer@hotmail.co.uk.

Along with giving you the chance to WIN BIG at the gee-gees in the traditional manner, we are also offering you the chance to sponsor a race for £50, own a horse for a tenner and ride a horse for a fiver. All winning horse owners will receive a prize at the conclusion of their race, while the successful jockeys will go forward to the final race of the night for a chance to take home significant cash prizes*. If you would be interested in sponsoring a race, or in buying or riding a horse, please contact Richard Dampney, East Meon’s answer to John McCirick, at richarddampney@aol.com.

We very much hope that you and your friends are able to join us in having a really great night and helping raise a lot of much needed funds for the Rosemary Foundation and the forthcoming cricket season.

*The scale of which depends on your attendance!
